The PERSONALIZED VIDEO PIANO METHOD

The PERSONALIZED VIDEO PIANO METHOD is my most elite offering. We can work personally Monthly or Bi Monthly with my effective correspondence course. I have been teaching with my program since 1989 at which time I was reviewed as one of the first in the World to teach with this personalized innovative approach. Here we are over 20 years later and I still continue to teach select students abroad. You can choose to study for as long as you like. No long term commitments, you can leave the program at anytime once you feel you have gathered enough information. Due to my personal involvement and the time required with each student, I can only offer this program to a select few on my schedule each month. If you should be interested in becoming involved as one of my personalized students please e-mail me at dan@pianoinstruction.com and I will be glad to tell you what I have for openings at that time and answer any particular questions you may have. If I do have an opening and you would like to come onto my program and be one of my select students I work with each month, I will be calling you by phone to gather specific musical information that will help me design a lesson that will work for you based on your time you can dedicate to practice and what kind of expectations you wish to attain while studying. These lessons are extremely informative and personal. I can assure you that you have never seen anything like this before. We have lots of fun. I have listed the various ways we can personally work together and the pricing for each program. *(limited enrollment)

MONTHLY MASTERS PROGRAM - $70.00 per month.
Video lessons run as much as 1 1/2 hrs in length depending on the student. This is my most elite offering which will contain a full months worth of lesson material or more. One can expect to receive maximum growth when using this program. I will call you and assess your ability to gather information to design your personal lesson. I will assign you a DUE DATE for each month. As a student working with this program, I am available for you via email with any questions you may have while practicing. You may stay with the program as long as you like. You can leave the program at anytime you feel you have gathered enough information. We will become great friends as we work together and I can assure you full personal involvement with loads of information.

BI-MONTHLY PROGRAM - $80.00 every other month.
This program works exactly like the MONTHLY MASTERS PROGRAM, however it is allowing more time to pass between lessons for those exceptionally busy people who want to make piano a part of their lives but may have work or personal things that may not allow regular monthly corresponding.

HOW IT WORKS

THE CONSULTATION:
I have a consultation with you upon registering to discover all your musical background and the goals you wish to attain while studying. All levels accepted from beginner to professional musician.

PREPARE THE LESSON:
I then prepare your personally designed lesson directed to you by name. All subjects covered are explicitly explained. All sheets are provided and all work is based upon your daily practice goal.. No two lessons ever leave my studio the same. These are personal lessons designed just for YOU.

DAN EMAILS YOU THE LESSON:
I then email out your entire lesson with videos of me playing all the content assigned to you. There will always be an introduction video as part of the lesson material, speaking to you directly (10-15 mins in length) that will highlight the content and critique your lesson playing and answering all your questions.

YOU PRACTICE:
You have 1 lesson per month. Practice as little or as much as you wish. Each month your workload may be lengthened or shortened at anytime depending on your schedule. A due date is assigned to you each lesson.

RECORD YOUR LESSON :
1 week before the due date record your lesson for me (following the “lesson plan” sheet) and e mail me the files for review. Feel free to ask specific questions as well.

DAN LISTENS/CRITIQUES and CREATES your LESSON:
Upon receiving your lesson I personally listen to your entire recording and personally design your next lesson that is best suited to you. I will videotape an introduction directed to you by name addressing your lesson playing and answering all your questions. These are very personal lessons. Your personally designed lesson will be emailed to you within one week. All videos and lesson pages are easily downloaded to discs and stored on your computer.

IN CLOSING:
You will now be one of the select few experiencing the state of the art PERSONALIZED VIDEO PIANO METHOD and on the way to creating a unique teacher/student relationship.

The BENEFITS

MORE CONVENIENT
You virtually never have to leave your home. No fighting traffic or moving schedules to conform around lesson times. You are now able to have a highly acclaimed professional pianist/author work personally with you in the comfort of your own home.

MORE FLEXIBLE
Feel free to practice as you find the time as little or as much as you wish. Again, you have the ability to have that lesson over and over again, a luxury any musician would love to have. NOW YOU CAN. This is what sets this method apart! It is far superior to an in-person lesson.

MORE THOROUGH
Than an (in person) lesson could ever be. To watch your instructor play your entire lesson for you as well as having explicit detailed exercise sheets would take a full day lesson. You now have both valuable resources available for your constant review, over and over again.

IN CLOSING
Now studing your instrument will be a fun experience and I'm sure you'll agree there is nothing like it around. All your lessons will be kept on file for my complete review. I'll know at any time what is complete and what isn't. Also I will know your strong points and weak points, thus enabling me to monitor your growth even closer than ever before.

FROM THE STUDENTS

DENNIS LAROSEE
Management Consultant/ Guitar graduate of Berklee College of Music
“Dan has taken me further n one year than any other teacher has taken me in one year of studying. I find his method allows me incredible flexibility to fit this activity into my life. I never have to leave the house. I can review my lesson as often as I want so I can have available the high quality instruction Dan has to offer to review and have access to any time you want.”

MIKE LEVINTHAL
Student- Berklee College of Music
“ I studied with Dan as a personal student for two years and recently switched over to his video method. To my disbelief it was more thorough that an in person lesson. I now have the added advantage to watch Dan demonstrate all the techniques over and over for my review. It teaches anyone who wants to learn all aspects of piano playing, I think this method is just fantastic!”

JOHN FOX
U.S. State Department
Anybody wishing to learn to play piano well and have fun doing it should learn from Dan Delaney. Although I haven’t yet been able to meet Dan face to face, I’ve been his student for the past five years, wherever I was stationed, including Iraq. I look forward every month to receiving my new personalized lesson from Dan. It doesn’t matter whether you are a beginner or an accomplished player. Even if you’ve never touched a keyboard, he gets you up and playing things in no time, and will take you to whatever level you want. What’s more, Dan’s focus on jazz and blues has you learning those techniques from the beginning, rather than trying to shift over to later from some other style. At the same time, unlike other courses, Dan’s does not neglect a sound basis of technical skills that you will draw on in a lifetime of piano-playing. Try his technique---you won’t regret it.

ADELE DREYER
Pianist-Teacher
Dan, I consider you a true genius, since I teach, too. It is amazing what you’ve done with technology and component “plug-ins”.. and I consider myself fortunate and enriched to have worked with you in your early days. I am giving a program to the New England Piano teachers Association on how to teach jazz (go figure…me!)…and picking up many pointers to this classical group, especially your contrary scale study with all those finger sets and permutations, and contrasts what can happen when you know how to alter a straight dom7 chord. That’ll appeal to them! Also giving them some structures for different age/skill brackets for working out improvisation with the blues. You’re the best! I will be attributing everything to you.
